There are many variants to this popular liver cleansing juice, however the beetroot and carrot are well known for their liver cleansing properties. Blueberries are high in antioxidants, strawberries are equally as healthy and serve the same purpose, as well as having lots of valuable fibre. Red cabbage is full of antioxidants to help purify the liver, and fibre to help clean the gut.
- 1 medium peeled beetroot
- 1/4 cup fresh or frozen blueberries or strawberries
- 1 carrot
- 4 leaves red cabbage
- A squeeze of lemon
Add all ingredients to a juicer and drink (preferably room temperature, first thing in the morning.
